This is an example of corporate owners who care nothing for what the company was built on, wringing every last ounce of "value" out of it. All while enshitifying the once great IP that used to use real artists and real writers to create something that was worth coming back for set after set. 1/2

Well, it was not unexpected but sudden. The loss of a parent is more surreal than I could ever imagine. Love those around you with all your heart.
The feeling of being in the room with a parent who is fading from life strips my emotion away only to have it slam back into me once I've left. I suppose trauma do flow differently for all those who have to navigate it.
My mother is dying. I don't know how to process this. And everything I do feels wrong. Anxiety is crushing me right now.
Sometimes I want to self isolate and I don't know if it's the depression, fear of responsibility or desire to be a hermit.
