As Arctic warming alters soil moisture, a key tundra sedge became less productive. soil drying reduced growth & photosynthesis across popns, with deeper drainage having the strongest effects. These Future hydrological changes could reduce tundra carbon uptake & alter Arctic ecosystem functioning.
