Can you imagine what it would be like to need toothpaste and when you went to the store they just had *a singular* toothpaste that worked and not an entire overwhelming aisle of toothpastes to pick from.

Jeanne Gibson, known worldwide as Rosie the Riveter, passed away on 29th July 2026 at the remarkable age of 100. Thank you Jeanne for giving women a symbol of strength when we were told we had none. 💋💪🏻💘

Re: the Avatar Studios using AI discourse. I believe those speaking out and stating that no generative AI was used in the art/design of the new movie. I would absolutely believe that it was some dumb young intern that was tasked with this slideshow and just slapped that paragraph onto it.

There sure is nothing like rolling a nat 20 on a spell, rolling high damage + adding a condition, all for your DM to giggle as he lets you know the enemy is immune to the damage type and it was all for nothing. 🫠

We're trying to decorate our house more so we went foraging today and I found this shelf and these knick knacks. Idc that its July, it's fall in our house 🎃

A black shelf with two sections. The top has a taller glass bottle with twine and a small metal leaf. The bottom has a small pot with fall leaves stuck in it and a small glass votive with twine and little metal leavesA black shelf with two sections. we attempted to plant a garden for the first time this year and it didn't go well. plus TX had some weird ass weather this year. between hail, squirrels, and our own inexperience, the only thing we got out of it was this singular carrot. but you know what? I'll take it, and we'll do better next year

Is anyone else eagerly awaiting cooler temperatures, pumpkin patches, ominous mansions, fog-laden fields of corn, autumn festivals, pumpkin pastries, Halloween, resplendent trees, the full moon in October, spooky films, and the heartwarming sound of crows in the distance?

Decided to avoid fresh produce in favor of frozen this week cause the cases of that parasite are on the rise in Texas. I can't help but think if we had a competent administration we would already know the source/have a better handle on the situation.

I have Charmed on in the background and I can't help but think about how different modern shows are from old ones. Older shows were made to really be *watched* and have a lot of silent scenes that the actors carry. New shows are definitely made with people looking at their phones in mind.

I have off work tomorrow to take one of our cats to the vet and I was slightly excited cause I thought Moonlight Peaks came out tomorrow but it's actually Tuesday 😭
