I’m going to the Ohio State Fair today. I have never been to it and I’ve spent nearly my entire life in this state. Going to the county or state fair was not really my family’s thing as I was growing up. Same with camping, fishing, etc. I’m kind of nervous. Tell me what to do there.

This is rough but I think it talks about a lot of what is missing from the Cunningham/WNBA discourse. Namely, that trans people are not hypothetical thought experiments. They are real people who are being genocided by our government & any coverage that doesn't center that reality misses the mark.

Alright, so yesterday’s Cleveland Sirens announcement got me excited for another thing: @pwhl-sanjose.bsky.social selling a Laila Edwards jersey so I can throw my money at it.

Another take on people getting mad at Sophie is that there are players sharing their beliefs all the time and this doesn’t happen. Because those views aren’t dangerous and don’t lack morality and basic humanity for other people.

Athletes supporting anti-trans groups. Athletes without any medical training calling out a doctor who tried to save people from dying. MAN THESE ATHLETES JUST CANT WIN!
