Just finished playing The Mermaid Mask, the new detective game from the makers of Haunt the House, Crow Country and of course Tangle Tower. Absolute 10 out of 10 for me, really really recommend picking up this game!! Gorgeous art and music, intriguing story, and FULLY voice acted - a must play!!

The UK is in a weird place politically where LGBT rights are dramatically backsliding, but the government + most media are pretending that's not happening. Like they're still acting like the UK is progressive on LGBT rights when any gay person will tell you things are moving in a scary direction

Just saw that Yuji Ohno, the composer of Lupin III, has passed away. His music has had a massive, massive influence on me - if I sit down at the piano, it's very often a piece by Yuji Ohno that I go to play. All of his music is on streaming, so go listen to the Lupin III theme in his memory :)

Not to go on and on about UK politics, but I really think what Labour is doing right now is going to be looked back on in the same way as Lib Dems' disastrous coalition from 15 years ago. I think there are huge swaths of people that will not vote Labour again, whose trust has been totally broken

DK Bananza looks just unbelievably great!! like Odyssey 2, but also so much more!! Pauline is my favourite main Mario cast member, so I'm thrilled that she has such a big role in the new game! and the voice definitely sounds like Kate Higgins to me, which is great!

My Elgato isn't working well with the Switch 2 - dropping lots of frames, and the audio is choppy and cutting out. Anyone know how other brand capture cards are working with Switch 2? I'm open to buying a new capture card anyway, since I've had this a few years now.
