I'm not much of a drinker at all these days but I'd 120 percent shout a few gargles or soft drinks for Zohran Mandani should he visit Ireland and we ended up in the same space. Not exactly perfect but absolutely very much not a cunt. He's a great young lad and has done some amazing things.

Minutes of the day: 11:25ish - depart Cork. 13:10 - arrive at Colbert Station, Limerick. Mooch about. 14:15 - Jump on the 345 to Scarriff. 15:29 - Alight. At some stage "borrow" a pony and trap and make my way to the folks. Cork, I love you, but I love leaving you just as much.

6 years ago we lost Tim Smith as the starry skies called our leader home. I found Cardiacs much later than everyone else, only properly took the plunge in 2019 but all it took was one listen to Sing to God and I was spellbound. So many more doors of music were opened to me. Thank you Tim.

I'm glad I never got into the habit of wearing eyeliner or mascara because in weather like this, the makeup would be absolutely pouring off me eyes, swear to goodness.
