How can Mitch McConnell just be a missing person? He is a public figure, being paid to represent his constituents. Has he applied for sick leave? Who, among his friends (if he has any) & allies, actually knows where he is? Surely the Senate at least, needs to determine where, and how, he is?
In this extremely polarized partisan climate, we need to be careful not to be reactionary, trying to pull votes from one extreme to the other. For many people - possibly a large majority - that would be a change too far. Conversion of voters from one color to another is best targeted at the middle

Todd Blanche, as acting AG, oversaw the case against David Hearn for allegedly vandalizing the reflecting pool. Now the case has been dropped, with admissions that damage was due to faulty & rushed installation. Surely that should be the last straw to vote against Blanche's confirmation as AG?
The biggest threat to the mid-terms is everyone assuming that everyone else will go and vote, to the point where many may just not bother to get out & vote. In the end, voter turn-out is way down, and the GOP wins both houses - again! What a disaster THAT would be! GET OUT AND VOTE ON THE DAY..!
The biggest threat to the mid-terms is complacency. All the forums are like echo chambers with like-minded folks posting stuff that reinforces the idea that the mid-terms are all but settled for the Dems. So - many will not bother to turn out & actually vote, everyone assuming that others will.
So why doesn't somebody actually go to visit Mitch McConnell in hospital? Why doesn't Gov Beshear exert some authority to find him as a missing person? Surely McConnell can't simply disappear, especially as he's being paid a senator's salary (& other grifts) & is a public employee...

It's very hard NOT to speak ill of the dead in Lindsey Graham's case. He was a moral vacuum who bent in whatever direction the political wind was blowing, in order to cling to his own perception of power. Graham was responsible for SO many abuses of human rights both in the USA and worldwide.
