I'll test a Slide Outline and Video Overview Producer Notes, starting with a free account showing 0% usage. For both tests, I generate the planning output, inspect it, and check usage without selecting Proceed. I then delete the draft and check again. The result: the usage display stays at 0% throughout these checks. What I test: • Review slide outline for a slide deck • Review producer notes for a short Video Overview • Usage after each planning output is ready • Usage after deleting each draft Neither test proceeds to a finished slide deck or video. This suggests that this new review feature may let you assess a plan before committing to final generation. However, a displayed 0% could hide small amounts through rounding, and this test doesn’t check for delayed reporting. Have a useful Gemini response you want to keep in Gemini Notebook? You can ask @ Gemini Notebook to save it as a source in an existing notebook. I'll demo the connection from Gemini’s web chat: listing available notebooks, asking for trigonometry practice resources, and saving the response into my Trigonometry Class notebook. I then open the notebook to confirm the source contains the response. The workflow: • Type @ and select Gemini Notebook from the app suggestions • Ask it to list your available notebooks • Generate a response you want to save • Invoke @ Gemini Notebook and name the destination notebook • Open the notebook and verify the saved source Google also announces notebook creation, editing, deletion, and source-management actions through this integration. Review generated information before treating it as a reference. Here is how to access Gemini Immersive Explorations using the direct URL and navigate topics layer by layer. I'll walk through the current account rollout, demo the interactive visual interface using Mesozoic Era and lightning physics examples, and test whether Gemini chat can actually launch the tool. What you'll see: • The direct URL required to bypass missing menu buttons and open the beta interface. • Account availability across Google Workspace, Gemini Student Hub, and personal accounts. • How to explore subtopics branch by branch from high-level summaries down to granular details. • Using the tree navigation menu in the upper-left corner to back out across exploration layers. • What happens when you prompt Gemini chat to start an immersive exploration directly. Flashcard Images Failures In Gemini Notebook

Selected 'Include Images' in your Gemini Notebook Flashcards, but they still contain only text? That’s what happened in my tests, including a retry with explicit instructions to add images. I'll check the flashcard settings, generate aviation and trigonometry decks, and inspect the results. The image option is selected, but I don’t see any images in the decks shown. What I tried: • Confirming Include Images is selected instead of Text Only • Generating an aviation flashcard deck • Retrying with an explicit request for images • Switching to a trigonometry notebook • Checking whether Add New Flashcard offers an image control • Trying Explain the Answer • Returning to a free account to inspect and configure the option there The option is visible in both the free and Pro accounts shown. The completed generation tests demonstrated here use Pro. If you successfully generate flashcards with images, tell us what worked: your topic, source types, settings, and prompt. Gemini Notebook: Review Your Slide Outline Before Generating

Want to check your Gemini Notebook slide outline before generating the deck (and using your limits)? The new Review Toggle adds a planning step where you can inspect the proposed structure and provide feedback. I'll generate an outline from a notebook, show where to review it, and explain the options to request changes, proceed, or delete the draft. I also show where to find Review Producer Notes for Video Overviews. Here’s the process: • Open a notebook and select your sources • Open the Slide Deck customization settings • Turn on Review slide outline • Choose your settings, enter your prompt, and select Generate • When the outline is ready in Studio, select Review • Inspect the plan and add feedback before proceeding Feedback can request changes such as adding an executive summary, removing a slide, or reordering sections. For Video Overviews, look for Review Producer Notes in the customization settings. It provides a similar opportunity to review the proposed plan before the video is generated. The toggle wasn’t visible on my free account when I recorded on 10/27/2026. What is the largest file you can upload to ChatGPT? The answer depends on the file type, and documents also have a separate token limit. I'll show where to attach files and briefly review OpenAI’s published upload limits, including an important distinction for MP4 audio files. The limits covered: • Documents and presentations: 512 MB per file • Text and document files: an additional cap of 2 million tokens per file • Spreadsheets and CSVs: approximately 50 MB, depending on row size • Images: 20 MB per image • Audio: 512 MB per file, where audio uploads are available The document token limit applies alongside the file-size limit. Gemini Notebook’s Connected Apps feature lets you search Google Drive from the chat panel. I'll test this with a Google Sheet containing dummy data that wasn’t already in the notebook. The search finds the spreadsheet and offers both the file and an accompanying research report for import. What you’ll see: • Where to find Settings → Connected Apps • How to change the Google Drive connection setting • Where to override the setting for an individual notebook • How to search Drive through a chat prompt • How to choose which search results to import • How to remove the imported sources afterward You can still add Drive files through the existing source-import options. This demo shows another route through '+ Add Sources'. Gemini Notebook Quizzes: How To Mix Question Types

Want more variety in your Gemini Notebook quizzes? You can now choose from a variety of question types: multiple choice, multiple select, fill in the blank, and short answer. You can even combine the different formats. I'll walk through the Gemini Notebook Quiz settings and show examples of single-answer questions, select-all-that-apply questions, and typed responses. Here’s the process: • Open a notebook (notebook.google.com) and select at least one source • Open the quiz customization settings from Studio • Choose your question count and difficulty • Select your question type(s) • Choose your language, review your sources, and add any instructions • Generate the quiz and review the result You can request a single format or mix several. You don’t have to select every question type. A few thoughts: - I misspoke in the demo about what was short answer and what was fill-in-the-blank - I got the two swapped. Question 10 in the demo example is fill-in-the-blank and Question 11 is short answer. - Include Images appears in the settings, but I couldn’t get it to work across my free and paid-account tests, so when I do get it to work, I'll create another video. - I used a free account for this demo. Canva Craft: New AI Image Model

Canva Craft produced much clearer text in this image test compared to my older Canva image model tests. Pairing the result with Magic Layers also let me select, resize, and move individual elements. I'll walk through the new Canva Craft image model in Dream Lab, review the four variations, compare the same prompt in Gemini, and demo combining it with the Magic Layers tool. What you’ll see: • Where to find Dream Lab from Canva’s More menu • Image quality, style, and aspect-ratio options • Where to confirm the Canva Craft model • Four results from a simple sketchnote prompt • A text-quality comparison with an older Canva image • A same-prompt comparison with Gemini • How Magic Layers separates the image for further editing The prompt I used: “Create a sketch note summary of Stephen King’s IT.” The Canva Craft results had readable text relevant to the story. Gemini also produced a strong result, with a different visual treatment. This is just one example, rather than a comprehensive model benchmark. I demo this on a paid Canva account.
