August 30, 2026 🧵 The shamrockening is underway.
August 31, 2026 🧵 My latest thread order: eight balls of Lizbeth in size 10. Some new colors, some new in this size, some restock. Restocking the yellow and brown because sunflowers 🌻🌻
August 29, 2026 🧵 I have a new, rotating display at the co-op market. It holds twice as much while also fitting full-size earring cards.
February 25, 2026 🧵 Yesterday I restocked my earring display at a local co-op market. People liking my work enough to trade money for it, sure feels good.
August 28, 2026 🧵 I’m always fiddling with patterns. The flower with the pink petals has a more attractive transition between the middle ring and the petals, I feel.
August 20, 2026 🧵 I liked how the white, pink, and purple threads in yesterday‘s photo looked together, so I made these tricolor flowers. But for some reason I could not get a true-to-color photo. Here’s the closest I got. The flowers are lovely in person, I swear 😆
August 27, 2026 🧵 My next market is on the Notre Dame campus, so it’s time to switch from roses to shamrocks.
February 27, 2026 🧵 Purple is an unusual color for shamrocks, but I gave it a try and I think they’re adorable.
August 26, 2026 🧵 I planned to give the lavender rose light green sepals… but I wasn’t paying enough attention… but I rather like it with the dark green sepals
August 25, 2026 🧵 Cooking up another batch of roses.
August 25, 2026 🧵 Cooking up another batch of roses.
August 17, 2026 🧵 So I may have spent the day crocheting autumnal roses.
August 24, 2026 🧵 My current crochet-on-the-go kit. Smaller box, smaller scissors. Added a pencil box for the crochet hook and needle and a box to contain finished pieces and thread ends. Also added pliers to pull the needle so there’s no excuse not to weave in ends 😬 Also too, reading glasses.
September 28, 2025 🧵 My crochet-on-the-go kit. I socialized today 😁
August 23, 2026 🧵 I have an idiosyncratic crochet technique, but obviously I’m used to it, but when I see it from another angle like this, it looks weird to me again.
August 21, 2026 🧵 My first attempt at filming my work.

August 19, 2026 🧵 Went to the fiber arts meet-up at the library with my knitting buddy.

August 18, 2026 🧵 An extra-large rose window. I’ll probably turn it into a keychain.
January 12, 2026 🧵 I spent yesterday exploring crochet patterns. Most of them were duds and that’s fine. This one is a winner. It reminds me of a rose window in a cathedral.
August 17, 2026 🧵 So I may have spent the day crocheting autumnal roses.
August 16, 2026 🧵 The finished roses. The autumnal colors are on purpose. I’m so done with the summer heat (but it’s not done with me).

August 15, 2026 🧵 Making roses. They don’t look at all rosy until the very last step.

March 1, 2026 🧵 An itty bitty 3D rose — about an inch across. So fiddly to assemble at this scale, but oh so cute.
August 15, 2026 ⛓️ As a side project, I put up an enamel pin display at the shop. They’ve been selling. I won’t lie and say I’m disappointed they’re selling, but… I do experience mixed feelings when my mass produced pins sell and not my hand-made stuff. Have y’all dealt with something like this?
August 13, 2026 🧵 She bought my earrings! She's wearing my earrings in the video! *swoon*
Kara from the Hobby Hoe Club came to visit us and our awesome neighbors. She dubbed us proHoes and called our little corner of South Bend a Hobby Hoe hub. We couldn't be prouder. Check out Kara's video at the link below.
August 11, 2026 ⛓️ One of my partners at the shop is planning a chainmaille earrings workshop. I got to be her guinea pig.
August 10, 2026 🧵 Two apples for the teacher. Or for anyone. I don’t judge.
March 29, 2026 🧵 As a child, when I found two cherries still joined at the stem, I would hook them over my ear and wear them as an earring. Anyone else do that?
August 9, 2026 🧵 Summerween part 6. I love playing with color, but multiple color changes like this take ~~forever~~. The first, blocked motif dried completely while I was crocheting and weaving in all the thread ends on the second.
August 7, 2026 🧵 Summerween part 5. See the slight difference in width? The motif narrows a bit when I add the contrast stitching and run three thread ends across the brim.

August 6, 2026 🧵 Summerween part 4.
August 5, 2026 🧵 Summerween part 3. Also candy corn, but with more bling.
August 4, 2026 🧵 Summerween part 2. Yes, this will be a series. I love making Halloween stuff and I can’t keep it to myself any longer.

August 3, 2026 🧵 The discussion at the shop today was whether we’re putting out our Halloween items already. It turns out that several of us are, as one partner put it, Summerween enthusiasts 🎃👻🎃
