what is the OPPOSITE of cast iron skillets? desired qualities: - lightweight - dishwasher safe - no teflon heavy pans hurt my flimsy connective tissue (especially when washing them). and thermal mass means you’re fucked if things start to scorch, it’s to late to turn down the heat.

i think he was not so much alarmed about Trans People Generally, mostly shocked by the idea that someone would feel threatened by his religion. and maybe also startled to be asked about it so directly when he wasn’t trying to give off any religious signals.

i used to hand-sketch my own paper maps after checking mapquest on the desktop (just with some key cross streets, not too much detail) i sometimes still do for bigger trips, i like understanding the route beforehand instead of just trusting the gps.

til you can get adjustable nose pads added to plastic-framed glasses! makes them much more wearable for me, otherwise they slide too far down my nose.
Just discovered that tortilla chips can go RANCID. Found some store-brand Doritos in the back of the cabinet and figured they might be a little stale but fine. Nope. They smell horrible 🤢.
one reason people are so resistant and angry to taxes here is that they often DO feel like a punishment. because you have to go through this whole stressful process to find out what you owe etc. every bit of friction added to the process makes people angrier and less willing to find the government
