I think people who are newer to the internet - those 18-21 year olds who have grown up with normalised Gen-AI - need our help. And I don't mean that in a "pity them" way. I mean that in a "guide them" way. The internet sucks right now. The kids need a point in the right direction.
I came across someone today who said they use AI because they "can't draw". I told them I couldn't either, until I learned. They said, "but how do I learn?" Gen-AI usage isn't necessarily vindictive, but we do need to encourage people to stop relying on it, and preferably, stop using it entirely.
There is no such thing as an "AI content creator". These people don't "create" anything. Their AI bot amalgamates. If you want to be seen as a creator, then create something yourself. Write a story or a poem. Make an a cappella song. Draw a stick figure. Take photos. Film yourself. It's so easy.

Game developers, a kind request: I know you want a fancy cutscene to play when your game boots, and that's cool and stuff but PLEASE, let players configure settings before that! Watching cutscenes with blasting volume and the wrong resolution is NOT a good first impression, I assure you.
