Ḏḥwtj-ms. Jmn-ḥtp did it. Nothing comes from nothing, and everything is the way it is because it got that way.

Race is an ideological concept that is unsupported by empirical science, and you’ve refused to acknowledge as such. That said, you actually voted for a state capitalist party that was giving material and economic support to an on-going colonization, occupation, and genocide, silly fascist.

Anti-Sabotage Operations Group@antisabotage.bsky.social · 3d ago

lol Look... You're a fascist, so you're an intellectually dishonest, and repeating your intellectually dishonest nonsense doesn't all of a sudden make you look sane "Race" is a social construct, like gender or money. Social constructs are real, in their way. Don't like it? Vote Democratic.

Legal rights presuppose a judicial authority to interpret and grant them in the first place. Which is, of course, enforced by the state, or the formal political class with the monopoly on legal/judicial violence. The fasces, btw, was the symbol of the Roman state’s judicial authority.

I would counter by saying you are a communist and thus don’t believe in ANY individualist rights, but you aren’t actually, you are just a loser who has only found any sense of self by posing as an extremist online. You are probably still a child

Stephen just started a five part mini-series on Alan Watts. Really interested how my favourite podcast will reflect on Alan’s works. I do have the “Alan Watts collection” (which isn’t actually the whole collection), and have gone through the main lectures, but there’s still so much left to unpack.

Whether you’re new to philosophy or a veteran, Stephen West’s Philosophize This! is one of the better philosophy podcasts that I’ve found. Each podcast is typically about half an hour in length and summarizes a topic from an individual writer. Easy to digest and often pretty funny.

Circular reasoning comes in because the contrarian opposes the original position of P on principle, which snaps Q into existence. Because Q now exists, P is contested, or requiring the arbitration of PQ. It’s self-authored. The contrarian plays both PQ (ie. judge) and Q (ie. advocate) in discourse.

If you understand what Advocatus Diaboli, or devil’s advocate, is, then you may understand the significance of this scene from Star Trek: Picard when Q snaps his fingers and matches his appearance to Picard’s, then says: “There! Now we’re even.” Think formal logic (P and Q) and false equivalencies.

That’s a definition of Zionism, but not the definition. Zion,(“Mount Zion, synecdoche used to describe a messianic interpretation of biblical Israel”) + -ism,(“ideology, principle, or condition born of”) = Ideology or Principle born of Zion. You should really look up the history of the ideology.

Anti-Zionism is by definition, antisemitic Zionism is nothing more than the belief that the Jewish people have a right of self determination in the Holy Land If you oppose that, you oppose Jews, no matter how educated/sophisticated you want to sound Google Samer Sinijlawi. Then let’s talk

Extremely disturbing. She openly states that a supernatural being gave them the land to do with as they see fit. That’s the messianic interpretation of Zionism. There’s a detachment from reality happening here, caused by circular reasoning. She can’t break free of the framing.

It's disturbing to see some young Jews, especially Americans who moved to Israel, echo Nazi rhetoric. American-born Jews also wield disproportionate influence within the settler movement, including some of its most violent extremist factions.

He’s trying the same dualistic manipulation that Blue MAGA practices down south. They convert discourse into binary, and then frame a false dichotomy as the only possible options. It’s why I asked him who one should vote for if their objective is the avoid consenting to state capitalists.

Rick@calder12.bsky.social · 2w ago

Then why are you supporting a right wing party that is destroying the environment and further enriching the oligarchs while doing nothing for the vulnerable. Your stance confuses me.

I get the impression that the 2A was more about the national guard than individuals as a means to counter the federal government’s monopoly on violence. If every state has their own well-regulated militia, then the monopoly on violence has become a polyopoly, as it were. In theory, anyway.

Ian@ianagp.bsky.social · 3w ago

As a Canadian gun owner, it's an easy sell to negatively compare our system to the USA. But the fact is that the 2A has completely failed in its stated objective. If you have the right to bear arms but can't when masked agents kidnap people then it's just the right to own toys.

One of you blocked the other, so I can’t see what you’re responding to, but would you agree that anti-racism begins by first acknowledging that the concept of race itself is ideological nonsense that is unsupported by the scientific evidence and consensus? Regarding your other point, the…

I never said that states existing is in your head. You’re making things up because you’re frustrated that you couldn’t identify which jurisdiction grants individual states the right to exist. Why? Because the legal right is not a thing in international law. A UN jurist said the exact same thing.

littleadv.bsky.social@littleadv.bsky.social · 3w ago

The person who claimed no state has any right to exist is desperately trying to convince me that states existing is in my imagination and I need to prove to him to his satisfaction that he's wrong. Obviously he's never satisfied with my arguments.

If you recall, you began the QT war from the original thread in order to call for back up on an argument that you couldn’t rebut. My position has been that no jurisdiction grants individual states the right to exist. You said that they do. The screenshot that I provided disagrees with you.

The statement is objectively correct, and you keep coming up with conspiracy theories to account for the idea that your argument has collapsed. What does the second sentence of the screenshot say? It directly contradicts you, and you don’t want to acknowledge it.

Don’t need to. My statement is factual. No jurisdiction grants any state the right to exist. Once you acknowledge that fact, your argument collapses. You know this, I know this, and anyone reading knows this. So, let’s go over the screenshot. What does the second sentence say?

Well, we were talking about the legal right to exist. I demonstrated that no jurisdiction grants that right. Your entire argument requires that we affirm that it does. That requires a jurisdiction to grant it, which you’re terrified of acknowledging doesn’t actually exist. I’m correct.
