I keep thinking to myself man wouldnt it be cool to experiment with animating, if only I had models worth animating- And then I remember I'm sitting on like aaa level animatable models that sit in my closet.
If you ever get a blend file from some stranger on the internet that asks to run python scripts. You should probably consider if it contains a virus or something sketchy. Just had someone try to send me one through Artstation today.
As a Blender artist I hate the "\" local button. Because I will hit this button, then wonder wtf I can't find any of my meshes.
This last week we finished a lot of the major programming for Flickers Web. We're still using a lot of very simple shapes, but things should start coming together very soon. #indiegame
This last week I put a focus on getting the World Tiles and Prefabs Created for Flicker's Web. Join the Discord for regular updates every Monday, and get early access to prototype builds! (Soon) discord.gg/YZ8AA9SWQR Check out the Development Roadmap! docs.google.com/spreadsheets... #indiegame
Little sneak peak of my newest game project Flicker's Web. One of the biggest hurdles has been getting myself to really take the time to design the world in a way that is feasible for me, and has a consistent art direction. Check out the discord for updates! discord.gg/YZ8AA9SWQR #indiegame
Its so weird to me now that I'm actually developing my own art style. I got to the point where I could take really any 2d character, even if its windows paint designs and make it more interesting in 3d. And like now I can take my own silly sketches and make them better in 3d.
Spider girl, who runs a movie theatre. And also the popcorn is bugs.
Armor is the equivalent of a 3d artist stubbing their toe over and over but its so cool when you actually do it
Since my sketchfab store is no longer existent, I'm considering making a booth where I can make the kind of vrchat avatars I want and expand upon them more than just selling the model as is.
I wanna make a Rosalina model, and I want it to be a bit of a challenge. Does anyone have some cool suggestions? I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy recently and I've almost finished it so I'm like super interested in making a unique model of her.
I've finished putting together the paneling system for my game. Seemingly ui panels are easy to put together, but if the number of panels is dynamic, then you have to use adaptive math to space them apart. It was pretty challenging. #indiegame #gamedev #unity
Multiple Choice Panel System (with overcomplicated math explanation)
It's been a few days since I've posted an update, so here's some major updates to I guess what I'd call a pretty minor aspect of the game. In Visual Novels, panels such as these are an easy way of per...

theres a very very specific way I want my steam vfx to look and I think today is gonna be one of those experimental kind of days where I end up making a shader node setup with like 50 different types of noises mixed together
The dialogue box is complete rararara. Sort of anyway. I gotta draw text on some buttons, but thats about it. Then all the other ui will match the dialogue box vissually
Working on getting the UI figured out cuz I've been sitting on placeholders long enough at this point
I got tired of manually setting things up for testing. So I created a story sequence debugger that lets me move anywhere in the story and execute lines of code
I have fixed 10 morbillion bugs and almost half way with putting the demo together.
