I just watched Casablanca for the first time. Watching it in 2026, for me it was just OK. From a 1942 perspective, I can see how it would be a great movie.

Yesterday I accidentally wore my 33-year-old red GA Bulldogs cap out. People kept staring at me, then it hit me. They would briefly think it was a maga hat. I stuffed it away in the closet. It's sad really.

James Carville and other legacy dems are complaining that the American people want candidates that do more than flap their lips and cater to AIPAC. Bye James! We're tired of the old ways.

You know it's going to be an interesting day when the fried chicken at Parker's (Shell gas station) tastes better than the fried chicken at KFC...

More power to Donna Mills, but if you are going to get nude for everyone, it's probably a better idea to do while you are young rather than 85.

Oh yeah...they are definitely out of ideas. Trying to remake Blade (we had 3 movies and a TV series), and now X-Men. How about doing something NEW? 🙄

Some older stuff I created locally (no water harmed) a few months ago. SDXL/Illustrious. That first one would be He-Man in his Ice armor. Note: Accidentally downscaled them to 1024x1024 before posting, silly me. #AI #AIArt

He-Man in his Ice Armor - Illustrious.Probably Cat Woman, right? - SDXLI'm pretty sure it is an impression of Jenna Jameson - SDXL - was testing using 'strong specular highlights' in the negative prompt.Saw a similar image on CivitAI, used their prompt, and mine is better. - SDXL

I finally watched North by Northwest. It was 1959, so I'll give it some slack. The silly-looking drunk driving scene and the abrupt ending. Not to mention the beginning 'kidnapping' where there was a phone in the room he could have used. It was an interesting film.

Note: Updated Space Trader on Github to include a clever "spacetrader.desktop file you can simply double click to run the game. No terminal. make sure you have Python and pygame installed and you are golden.

In the future you will own nothing and be in perpetual debt. GM is quietly becoming a subscription company, so is Apple as it partners with Klarna to 'rent' a Mac for up to 3 years. The beast needs to be stopped...

I just finished the end game screen with a few words and a mathematically drawn 'living' planet with a total 3D mesh of ~7,800 polygons. I'll work on a few more small issues with the main game and all of you can feel free to play it because my brain is cooked..no GPU needed. #pygame #python

About these new single-serving Banquet microwavable meals for $2. I've had several now and none of them tasted bad. The one with the chicken nuggets, the nuggets were actually some of the best I have tasted. Again...$2. I am so confused. I've had $5 microwave meals that didn't taste half as good. 😕

There is nothing wrong with working towards or saving enough money to buy 1 or more nice or expensive things. But when you can continuously buy very expensive nice things without any fear of ever running out of money, we have a problem.

Okay, I revamped my quest system again. The main quest engine is in the python game file. But it is user moddable now because a CSV file is the content database (delivery, multileg, diplomatic, fetch/gather or rendezvous). 100's or 1000's of quests in those categories could be added.

What I am currently working on: Old quest system was basically "Deliver this and get x credits". Boring! I'm currently implementing randomized cargo with stories and changes to the way they are delivered with payoffs and consequences. 😉

Note: I have put the other two games on hold because I have fresh attention to my "Space Trader" game I showed a video of. I have implemented new stuff like quests, planetary wars and other events, and soon a boredom-killing Intergalactic racing mode.
