#BirdOfTheDay #FabulousWaders Sure, I will get my feet wet here. A Snowy Egret, wading into the waves with wet feet and what might become wet knees.

#WritingCommunity #photography #amquerying #noAI. Grumpy Grammarian-Baker-Amateur Photographer-Hiker-Nature-Humor-Movies-Quotations-Unpublished but hoping. Photos mine. Typos galore. FWIW.
#RockinTuesday A wall of one of my favorite kinds of rocks, Jacobsville Sandstone. Used to build cool buildings in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula by guys who were builders and artists.
Nearly missed #BlueSkyMonday Silhouette image of a Dove sitting in a tree that looks like it is having a bad hair day. Hope your coming week is filled with good hair days.
#BirdOfTheDay #EgretsAndHerons Much easier to photograph because it takes them a second or two to take one of those long steps!
#BirdOfTheDay #yourchoice Okay, one more. A while back I had to force my way through some pricker bushes to get a clean look to take this sequence of shots of this Eagle, but it was worth it!
#BirdOfTheDay #yourchoice Sure, make it even more difficult than usual to pick! First picture is a crowd to let you all pick a winner. Second is one of my favorite bird pictures. A little bird with a withered leg who was still hopping to keep up with the others. You had to give him points for spunk.
#BirdOfTheDay #DucksOutOfWater for the alternate. Sure. Even ducks have to take a break now and then.
#BirdOfTheDay #MultiColour You can't always see their colors, but when a Starling gets in the right light, its colors come out!
I see that it is World Nature Conservation Day. If only we could think of every day as World Nature Conservation Day!
#RockinTuesday Rocks cut and lined up by some guys a long time ago who really knew what they were doing.
Late entry for #BirdOfTheDay #Grey Saw two Bluebirds chasing each other around. Thought I caught one on a tree in the shadows. When I got the image on a bigger screen and removed some shadows, I found that the Blue Bluebird and the female Grey Bluebird were giving each other the eye.
#BlueSkyMonday early. A crow, catching a few rays to illuminate his feathers and beak. Have a Blue Sky week.
#Stunday Okay, I admit that this is a terrible photo. I am posting it because I cannot figure out how that one web strand in the middle, right of the spider, ended up reflecting all those colors! Have great Sunday/Stunday, and if you have any guesses, let me know or not!
Just saw that alternate #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Robins. Because of them, I have to refill my birdbath twice a day, but it is all good!
#BirdOfTheDay #OneTwoThreefFour This was a tough one, but here they are, 1-2-3-4, hanging around the neighborhood watering hole.
#BlueSkyArtShow #glass I like to take pictures through glass because of the multiple layers of reflections and things behind the glass that often result. The front of a small bar, and a display in a camera shop. Have a glassy weekend.
Okay, one more #BirdOfTheDay #EyeOfTheWild. There are few eyes in nature as steely as the eyes of eagles when they are giving you the "eye."
I went into my external hard drive the other day to see what I could delete. My "Birds" folder had almost 30,000 files in it, and that was after deleting quite a few. I may have an addiction . . . 🤪
#InsectThursday How have I been missing this one? The same way you have been missing all the other ones, Bozo! A milkweed bug, checking out the interesting pattern on a Milkweed plant.
#BirdOfTheDay #SittingDownOnTheJob I will never figure out why this seagull found this spot comfortable. The pothole fit his backside? Find a comfortable spot, and have a great day.
One more for #RockinTuesday This almost looks like a window through all these rocks, but it is a pool reflecting the pure blue sky above them. I liked the look, the blue "portal," and the variety of shore rocks, so of course, I had to take a picture!
Cannot remember if I've posted this for #RockinTuesday before. Cobblestone street in Perouges, France. Very old place. So rough you could not ride a bike on it. Rocks not so much cobbled as just placed by guys who knew what they were doing. Cool? Off the chart on cool-o-meter.
#BirdOfTheDay #SummerLovin Sure. Caught this guy recently, probably looking around for a little fish for breakfast in the morning summer sun.
Noticed that we had an orange moon last night, so I went out and tried to get some good pictures of it for a change. Today I see that it is International Moon Day, so here is the best of far too many moon pictures from last evening.
#BlueSkyMonday early post. A squirrel, trying to wake up and meet the new week with a BlueSky background. Have a peaceful and productive week.
#BirdOfTheday #screenfiller I was going to take a picture of a bunch of Black Skimmers when a couple little kids ran right into the middle of them and suddenly they were all around me.
