I’m suddenly getting loads of unsolicited emails linked to one or other of my books, each suggesting discussing how best to promote them. They appear AI-generated (so are semi-persuasive). Are others getting lots of these. Needless to say, I’d be delighted if any were real!

Currently separated from vinyl so it’s streaming services for a couple of weeks. The cottage does have some cover art on the walls though, so inspired by that today it’s strong fresh coffee and the Dave Brubeck Quartet

No vinyl for a little while. Strong fresh coffee this morning while listening to”Where the Willow and the Dogwood Grow” and reading David Graeber’s The Utopia of Rules

Strong fresh coffee and in celebration of the fact my dear friend George Mair managed to get us Dylan tickets (in Blackpool) I’m listening to this classic. Also reading the book that’s excited me the most for a long while, German sociologist Hartmut Rosa’s “Resonance “

Today it’s Anouar Brahem and strong fresh coffee to counteract irritation from Argentina’s conduct in the WCF and the absurdly of trying to buy gig tickets in the modern age (in this case Dylan at the Southbank in December)
