I love when I rediscover the fact that Beth Gibbons’ voice is one of the top one things that evolution has ever produced. All those post-Big Bang hydrogen atoms, all those Tyrannosauruses Rex, all those cavepeople, happy to know they’ll someday be the lead singer of Portishead.
This #boudoir shoot with Serenity is already ten years old! We had a great time: these shots were taken through a collection of sticks I got at a flower shop, with a piece of glass held at an angle in front of the lens, to get the reflections. All in-camera. #photography #portraits

Did a little comfort-watching. I *love* Star Trek III. Stealing the Enterprise, Kirk’s/Shatner’s reaction to his son being murdered, the self-destruct sequence…love. It. Then, of course, watched IV—more love—but then? V? Couldn’t keep going. It is such a tonal shift…just couldn’t get through it.
