I am grateful for the Supreme Court’s decision in June to preserve birthright citizenship as stated in the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution. This amendment has stood in place for over 150 years and has had a significant impact on shaping the culture and history of our country.

Unsheltered homelessness in Central Oregon is down 19% over the past year. We have more work to do, but we’re moving in the right direction because of real investment and real partnerships.
