I was yesterday years old when I learned that “condominium” is an 18th century word. It’s con-dominium (“shared dominion”) not condo-minium. You’re welcome!

You should be able to go to your local Democratic Party headquarters and get help with anything you need help with. Don't have a printer and need to print out a form? We gotcha! Need help applying for a passport? We gotcha! Need a bathroom or a sandwich? We gotcha! I'm not kidding in the least.

This genre (“why Trump won”) consistently muddles two separate problems: 1) the many many reasons folks voted for him (and yes the MSM is one); 2) the swing voters who would have swung the election. Sorry, TNR. If “inflation” voters had voted Dem, we obviously WOULD be swearing in Pres Kamala.

So this the kind of Trump admin that progressives on the Hill and some leftists want to play clever game of footsie with around issues on anti trust and credit card fees?

I am such a believer in this. Down-ballot is the way. It’s also how we build a sustainable future of good leaders and infrastructure to elect and support them, as well as the movements they represent. We don’t just need strong candidates. We need strong organizers, managers, CoS, grassroots, etc.

I’ve been organizing in rural areas since the first Trump administration. Rural Dems can make the difference in races at the top of the ticket. Republicans have all of the electorate they’re ever going to have. Organize to turn out 5% to 10% more Dems in rural spaces. Watch what happens…
