The nestling robins outside our door fledged today. Fly safe little birdies! These pictures were taken earlier today, before these last two fledged. As you can see they were definitely ready to go.
Seeing the Met Gala outfits makes me miss the days when I did red carpet posts on my blog. There's a lot of great clothes there this year. And yes, I know about Amazon and wealth inequality. I still love the clothes.
We once again had Robins nesting on the light in are back yard. There were 3 babies that looked ready to fledge so we setup the camera. This was not the end of the story we were expecting. Hawks need to eat too. At least the other 2 seemed to get away, although that second one did not seem ready.
I am guardedly optimistic that the migraine has lifted. I can still feel tendrils of it but I haven't taken anything in hours so I hope the worst is over. 🤞
Weirdly, the throbbing of my migraine is not in time with my heartbeat. I wonder what it IS in time with?
Best In Show is even funnier now, after I've had my own dog. Catherine O'Hara and Fred Willard really excelled in these Christopher Guest mockumentaries.
