Attention deficit commentaries on horror, cult, and underground films. Queer weirdo in Kansas City. https://bsky.app/profile/onlyhurtforaminute.bsky.social. is my extreme metal page.
I'm sorry, but that burnt CGI deadite was some SYFY channel shit. Also, the dog was just pointless. It was a fun movie, but I never really connected with it. A little disappointed, but maybe it'll grow on me.
Why does the dishwasher guy in the Finish ad talk like Louis Armstrong and look like he's covered in stale jizz? It's more unsettling than the three August Underground movies I just rewatched.
Will MAGA rub their shit on the walls of Capital One, as well?
Feel like hell, so I'm going to bed with a comfort movie. One of Carpenter's most underrated films. 1976
At least a dozen of these were following me, so this was a good blockchain!
I started getting followed by some "film festivals" and "writing festivals" and thought "oh, these are cool!" Then I looked a little closer. They're all part of a network that preys on writers, charging us for reviews, and feeding our stuff into slop generators. So I made a list.👋🏻🖕🏻😠
ESPN has professional pillow fighting...in a ring...with ring girls. I'm rarely speechless...
This woman looks like the love child of Marie Osmond and Charo...
It's weird watching one of the hallmarks of extreme horror in this era. A character cutting a fetus out of a victim in a realistic looking yet fake manner compared to an extremely popular Netflix documentary where a woman does it in reality...
Me: that's the stupidest fucking lie I've ever heard. MAGA: hold my beer...
People hate these movies. They are vile, cruel, extreme, and repulsive to a degree few films go. I think they differ due to the supposed intent. Creator Fred Vogel was sick of hearing the glorification of serial killers. He decided to show how repugnant and pathetic they are.
Are the bumbling cops and goofy music later ripped off by Halloween 5?
These two represent so much of my internal workings. Pornography is the bleak, depressed, self-loathing, and hopelessness. However, there is a slight tinge of possibility. Broken is the point where you've accepted that nihilism and self-hate and almost wallow in the destruction.
I feel like this movie is the visual companion to The Cure's Pornography album.
