Dolly Parton will always hold a special place in Black people’s hearts. Dolly’s a fantastic example of an ACTUAL ally—notice how you’ve never heard her refer to HERSELF as such. As I’ve posted often, if a white person Loves and appreciates Black people, it’ll be obvious. Dolly is a great example.

Not apropos of any specific thing, but barring some exceptions for buildings that are expected to serve the public extensively, government buildings should emphasize functionality, sustainability, and cost far ahead of any aesthetics.
