What got you into #gamedev? I got hooked on map editors, spending as much time messing in them as I did playing games themselves. Mostly RTS titles, and primarily for Warcraft 3, I eventually encountered a WC3 modding community Hiveworkshop where I met some of my best friends.

I ended up in a secret group of people testing games for the Might & Magic series when I was terribly underage, made connections to Ubisoft and the future developers of the series, and eventually after completing my BSc ended up as a programmer on M&M: Heroes VII.
Just tried Armored Core VI I feel like one major flaw in this game is that by the point you finish your first decal and colour scheme you forget the control scheme and gotta replay the intro.
Funniest bit from this weekend gaming con was showing my aquintance a Harry DuBois keychain I got from previous con only to notice an actual Harry cosplayer nearby.
Going trough Bluesky mentions of "Godot" vs Twitter really puts into perspective how few outrage-starved pundits and their orbiters there are on this site. Hope it somehow stays that way.
