Somewhere, some Rhoback execs are wondering if they can sue this guy for his product placement during this terrible video.
Max Miller is denying all the allegations against him and you can tell he's sincere because of the popped collar.

I regret to inform you all that this goose did not have the proper plates or placard and was subsequently towed.
Glasswing et al present a moral hazard to bug bounties. What I've seen recently is a significant increase in AI generated, or assisted vulnerability reports that are not vulnerabilities. (1/6)
Apparently “just write a quick skill, they can help the AI do anything properly” is a mistake not limited to software developers…
“The first tell was the file name of the principal brief: ‘CoCounsel Skill Results.’” oh my god
Well this one is easy. St. Maarten Cafe in Charlottesville. Was my Cheers bar for years. Big Production burger… Cajun cheese fries… and of course the wings.
Sunday night timeline cleanse please tell me about your favorite lost restaurant (closed for at least 5 years, like I really want you to go back into the vault), why you loved it and what you ate there
My days working on the Aspire Dashboard are long gone but I still really enjoy watching it continue to evolve. Props to the team.
Aspire 13 new dashboard features, day 5: The interaction service just got a major upgrade ⚡ 💫 Dropdowns can now accept text — in other words, ComboBox inputs. 🔄 Supports dynamic data loading for cascading dropdowns. See it in action in the Azure provisioning dialog 🚀
Ordinarily me turning the game on would spell doom for whichever team I was rooting for. Unfortunately for everyone hoping this game ends I have no real rooting interest here.
If you've never seen Trent Reznor corpsing during "Head Like A Hole" because he can't believe that a dude dressed like Santa Claus is crowdsurfing—and I'm guessing you haven't—you may want to watch this clip from last night's NIN show in Philadelphia. The fun starts about 1:30 in.

Relatedly, my answer to the question this was a reply to would possibly be Ritual and Demonology, also at UVa. No seances though, sadly. Though I also liked “normal” things like Elzinga’s Econ classes and PSYC 101. Maybe I just liked getting out of Thornton Hall occasionally…
Thread: the leadership of The University may be captured, but I do relish the idea of the response Waldo describes from Charlottesville.
The most horrific person you can think of (my guess: Ken Cuccinelli) is going to be named as the next president of the University of Virginia, and they will not be prepared for what Charlottesville is like after August 2017. They will not be able to eat in a restaurant or appear in public.
I'm no big fish alumnus. But they won't receive a single dollar of money from me again after allowing this to happen. Ryan resigning is a disappointing move by him but the University as a whole allowing it to happen is worse.
There's a good "even the stoners in my high school marching band could parade march properly when they wanted to" take in here somewhere...
I love that the replies to this are evenly split between “everyone can parade march, this was intentional” and “parade marching is not something most people can do, he just wanted a Big Parade” I don’t really know what the answer is.

Finally had time over the holidays to realize a long-standing dream of mine: a hex editor that knows about the PE file and .NET metadata format. You can click any byte and it will show you which data structure it is in the tree. Every byte is covered. The parser is at github.com/KirillOsenko...
Did they take all the complaints about selection Sunday and use them as an instruction manual?
Read the thread or better yet read the article. It's long but worth every paragraph. An absurd tale. And the villain's worshippers probably could have served as a cautionary tale of another kind, if we still needed that warning.
17/ One case especially haunted St. Peter’s staff - the sudden death of a 16-year-old girl. Read the story to find out how I got to the bottom of that case, among others, and eventually confronted Weiner with this question: “Are you killing your patients?” ... www.propublica.org/article/thom...
OK, ACC, that's a low blow, fining and publicly reprimanding us for yet another poor showing in our rivalry game. Haven't we suffered enough?
I am ordinarily one of those "give them time" kind of guys when it comes to coaches. I hate the coaching carousel almost as much as I hate what the transfer portal has done to college athletics. But... three years, worst record in the Power 5, and a bare cupboard? I think it's time.
Sources confirm that #UVA QB Anthony Colandrea intends to enter the portal. He spoke to a few players last night about decision. 247sports.com/college/virg...
Does the AI think Virginia is in the Midwest? Pretty amusing, more a twist on my profile than my posts i guess "A charming blend of Midwest humility and Pacific Northwest quirkiness, Tim's feed is where insightful tech talk meets family anecdotes and sports rants." blueskyroast.com/roast/tlmii....

The game of "what just happened to cause this wave of new followers" is always entertaining.
Yeah, I hate it. I had completely forgotten what they changed the rules to. But man is that an awful way to play.
Bringing a long-stale but nevertheless accurate take over to Bluesky: College football’s overtime is one of the silliest and least defensible things in organized American sports.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are now 15-0, so I decided to write about the one player on the team everyone should be watching and talking about. Ty Jerome. www.sbnation.com/nba/2024/11/...
