You'd Prefer an Astronaut, the '90s space rock opus from Champaign, Illinois band, Hum, was not widely considered a space rock opus until some 20 years after its initial release. It's a fuckin' epic record.

I had this on earlier today, and I don't think I've ever felt so old! Lyrics that were cathartic and borderline magical to me in my youth seem completely unrelatable now. These songs were a soundtrack to a world of possibilities, and now they represent a place anchored in the past. #ToxicNostalgia
