Can I just say I really do NOT buy the whole "uwu we're just a tiny team we HAVE to use the water-guzzling, planet destroying, plagiarism machine, there's just NO WAY we could do anything without it!!" It's just such a shallow excuse. We spent decades building things without AI. You don't need it.

If you haven’t heard yet, the EU has some new regulations coming which would require every single business to pay recycling fees and hire a representative in each eu country. Imagine having to spend thousands just to be able to send 1 sticker to every country.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
