New thing to think about while dodging unleashed dogs while out on my long run.

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.

As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners
- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative
sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.

I guess it's somewhat comforting to know that AI will solve the climate crisis probably by winning the race towards a mass extinction event.

Every candidate for Vancouver Park Board should have to answer if they support locking public washrooms from dusk until dawn.

I listened to this yesterday and was nodding my busted noggin along nearly the whole time. I am alive because I was wearing a helmet but *obviously* wearing a helmet didn't prevent the dumb fuck in a truck from being a dumb fuck.

I have never been hit by a driver cycling without a helmet and I do it all the time. I was wearing a helmet when I was hit by a driver and it probably saved my life. Understanding the hierarchy of controls should be the basic entry required to engage in this conversation. (I haven’t listened yet)

I feel like I missed summer. As in didn't notice. Not some forlorn longing nonsense. Maybe because it got unusually hot in early May then didn't again? This summer was weird.
