I need all artists to know that using 3D models in your art is not cheating. Those free-to-use 3D models are literally there to make your life easier. Stop being so hard on yourself and just trace that 3D object. You don't need to be able to perfectly draw every object ever from memory!!

If you are struggling mentally or are in a dark place let this be a small check point to say, it does get better. In 2023-24 I had some of the worst depression of my life. I felt like my entire career was gone as Twitter died, but more and more I keep noticing how much I’ve improved since then.

This is fair. I mainly take issue with how theory culture overcomplicates and misses the point of media. Too often it focuses too hard on piecing together a puzzle, rather than the appreciating whole picture and what it's saying; the "no meaning, only lore" idea that killed Twin Peaks for 25 years.
✨🪐Apollo🪐✨@apatheticvanity.bsky.social · 6mo agoit’s how media literacy is formed. By looking into themes and patterns that may be there and make connections. They may not always be right, but that’s part of the enjoyment of media. The issue doesn’t come with theorizing, it comes with entitlement.
That YouTuber you watch who came up with an interesting theory is not a “better writer” than the showrunner. They just had a different idea and you liked that idea. Chatting about a cool concept isn’t the same as sitting in a writing room with innumerable other facets of production relying on you.

They just set people up to get mad when the story the artist tells doesn't line up with whatever people imagined based off "patterns" that don't really mean anything. Wait for the end, enjoy the ride, and let a story be what it is.

I really do think people need to realize the only important relationships aren't just family and romantic relationships. Hell, even platonic ones. Just because someone isn't my friend doesn't mean they aren't important to me. Humans are far too complicated to narrow down to only three types of love
