Increasingly, I find my most common interaction with AI is explaining to it why it is stupid and wrong. And weirdly that does help me work out what is smart and right. And I don't know how to feel about that.

I haven’t managed to have even one conversation with anyone on this app in two weeks. I’ve commented and followed people and asked for recommendations … crickets. It feels like there is no community here at all. Am I crazy? Can you help me find the humans?

I look for info on the McConnell situation about 5 times a day, because--legitimately--as a mystery writer I have a major interest in how you hide a dead body.

Importantly--& I really don't think people talk about this enough--fossil fuels are FINITE. We are running out of oil. If we never drove another added another gas guzzler into the rotation, anywhere in the world, the IEA estimates we have 40-50 years of oil left.

For information: "Once the oil is drilled from the North Sea, it is owned by the private businesses and multinational energy corporations (like BP, Shell, and private-equity-backed firms) that extract it." Drilling more oil doesn't make us more energy secure.
