Opus 5 is actually a confident idiot, I hate it. So often it thinks it knows better leading to misunderstandings and mistakes
I've lived in 6 different houses/flats in my 30 years on this earth and none of them has ever had a doorbell
The solution to this is a working week with fewer days 4 day work week would easily cure my AI burnout at this stage

We had an accessibility audit of our shadcn-based design system and let me tell you there are so many UX improvements that can be made across the board
if every engineer has unlimited LLM spend, sitting on the toilet watching tiktok saves the company money hmmmm
When did apple rollback their decision on icons in menu items? I swear in latest macos 26 update they said something like "all menu items should have icons" but now it says you should use icons sparingly developer.apple.com/design/human-int…

In years gone by i would tell people to open a PR to show their PoC in practice Now with code generation being so cheap I think this is dangerous advice, it sets the wrong expectation
There seems to be a crazy spam wave happening right now. LLM generated replies that sounds quite natural but are not related at all to the parent post. I have a post with 16 spam replies all from different accounts, they all have the same vibe like they've been generated with the same prompt
Typa band that'd blow up out of their niche 15 years ago. Dunno if that really happens anymore but it wouldn't surprise me

Has anyone managed to squeeze a 4+ drive NAS into a 10" rack? Can it be done in 1u? Or do I just accept it'll have to be 2u?
I'm a guy with a small rack now
With any craft it's never just the things. It's always people plus things. There's a metaphor for AI in there somewhere.

If anyone is building a library that has a collection systems that exist on several components, get Claude to review it for inconsistencies - it's very very good. Just point it at your public interface types

ARIA Pattern guide seems to suggest that menus should always focus the first menu item but in my experience that isn't the case. It's not how macOS/Windows works and I'm hard pressed to find any UI on the web that implements it this way Anyone have insight on this?
I posit that anthropic ran mythos against curl back in April when they were doing their PR around it, found that it didn't produce any huge findings, and subsequently "delayed" access to the curl team because of it Classic selection bias in the reporting around this new model I'm sure
#Mythos finds a #curl vulnerability yes, as in singular one. https://daniel.haxx.se/blog/2026/05/11/mythos-finds-a-curl-vulnerability/
Cool! Now imagine if both Tangled Spindles and Netlify supported OIDC so the 'create PAT' step could be skipped entirely
👀 I have achieved continuous deployment to @netlify.com from @tangled.org. Add a workflow like so: tangled.org/philippeserh... Add site ID + Netlify PAT: tangled.org/philippeserh... ☑️ PR → deploy preview ☑️ Push to main → deploy to prod Deploy URLs tucked away in pipeline logs, but it's a start.
