(3/4) Masking stuttering to appear fluent can come at a cost: anxiety, fear, and exhaustion. When fluency is seen as the only goal, well-being can be left behind. When talking with someone who stutters: listen attentively, resist filling in words (it adds pressure!), maintain natural eye contact, speak naturally, focus on the message (not just how it's said). Let's create a world where everyone communicates comfortably! #Inclusion #StutteringAwarenessWeek

1st comic is a cartoon version of me. I’m saying “I don't stutter due to being nervous or anxious. Stuttering is neurological, NOT psychological.” 2nd comic is a cartoon version of me. I’m wearing a Batman shirt. I’m saying: All of us stutter differently. When a person who stutters says "Batman," it might come out like "Buh - buh - buh - Batman (a repetition) or "...Batman" (a silent block before the word comes out)." 3rd comic is a cartoon version of Nina G Comedian.
