Reporter Brittany Guyot investigates the disappearance of 25-year-old Joshua Francis Saulteaux. Saulteaux vanished from his family’s property on Whitefish Lake First Nation in northern Alberta in the spring of 2025. Weeks before his disappearance, Saulteaux won $1 million on a scratch ticket.

Following a year of tragic loss, video journalist Rob Smith returns home in Kingcome Inlet, B.C. Back on the land and with help from his Elders, Rob documents an intimate and personal journey. A path toward healing, out of the darkness.
