Roger Ebert once said it is unfair to judge a movie by the film you wish the director had made; instead you must evaluate how well the work succeeds at being itself. I think about this often. Especially when fans Online whine about films & TV shows. Like the last season of “Game of Thrones.”

Same. I’m continually blown away by his talent and range. He was one of the standouts in “The Odyssey” and the trailer for “Primetime” is really good. He’s quietly becoming one of this generation’s best actors.

Beastie Boys is my long time go-to for a group that seemed destined to be a one-hit wonder joke with their first novelty song, and I think Robert Pattinson is my actor equivalent. I thought he was a Twilight joke and he's absolutely not

I’ve thought this since “Civil War.” Tobey and Andrew have their individual strengths but Holland has done the best job of bringing both Peter Parker and Spider-Man to life. And with this latest film, he’s taken the character further than anyone before him. The bar may be impossible to clear.

I really really really don’t wanna see the #Brewers unload their valuable assets and get Skubal just to lose more 2-0 games in the playoffs again. They finally have the assets to deal with. They need offense. Bad.

I think this would be Bad For Baseball, but the problem isn’t really the Dodgers. It’s that a team like the Brewers, that has an absolutely loaded farm system comparable to the Dodgers’ and a MUCH bigger need for Skubal, might not be willing to give up as much as the Dodgers are.

I’m a diehard “X-Files” fan and author of an “X-Files” book. My initial reaction to a reboot was extreme negativity. I prefer to leave this series & what it represented in the past. But Ryan Coogler is one of the Top 2-3 cinematic storytellers working today. In his hands, I have extreme confidence.
