Big surprise -- Cornyn and Tillis now say they will support Blanche's confirmation now that the "anti-weaponization fund is dead." And I'm sure they will be just "simply shocked" when Trump resurrects it once Blanche gets into office. They're all terrible.
Blanche's dismissal of the "anti-weaponization" fund is nothing but theatrics in order to get confirmed. There is NOTHING stopping Trump from resurrecting in another form once Blanche gets in. Cornyn and Tillis need to keep blocking! (I mean, they won't...but we can dream).

If Darlene Graham Nordone had experience actually serving in elected office (a town board, city council, county legislature) then maybe her appointment to replace her brother Lindsey would make sense. But working on his election campaigns isn't the same as being qualified to hold elected office.
Of course Trump is going to claim foreign interference in the 2020 election: he needs to sow seeds of doubt for the midterms. BUT it's also about Trump's ego, his view that he's always right/ a winner & his reputation for never backing down. Mentally & emotionally, he simply can't let this go.
