I can totally understand people being glad about Wober's exit & maybe happy to see Meslier go even if I personally disagree but I'll never be anything less than very grateful towards Jack Harrison because he was one of the players that typified the extraordinary workrate of the Bielsa era. #lufc

🧢@ellandread.bsky.social · 2w agoregarding a modernised #lufc rose badge. where does the vote lie regarding the typeface? the original used a slab serif which was a little untidy but legible - i've got two examples here, the first is a custom titling style, the second a counter option, far more stylised.

I think what we can learn from this is that clubs like Arsenal and Man Utd need to spend more time on social media to learn who's crap and who's not instead of relying on daft things like decades of professional experience.
I see that another of our Actually Very Bad goalkeepers has signed for a club that finished above us in the league, leaving us light in that department in a window where we're once again facing financial constraints. I wonder if there's any sort of lesson we can take from this? #lufc
At @thesquareball.net we were able to source and co-ordinate documents to tell fans the story of Leeds United’s ownership more fully than the club was doing in 2011. Doing this for the club’s 2026 investors would be impossible because no such documentation is available. #lufc

Modern existence is a perpetual struggle for those of us on the side of largely loving humanity & particularly the wonderous Earth itself but despising late capitalism so it's grimly familiar to adore football, the true sport of the working classes, but loathe the self appointed custodians.

Huge win for France & everyone who had the extraordinary foresight to back Paraguay receiving no bookings tonight, apropos of nothing & I for one think it is certainly not worth investigating, particularly not in Uzbekistan or Qatar to name two countries at random.
I’m all for tough, physical & sometimes intimidating football but these Paraguayan players are consistently crossing the line & I think the best thing would be for some of them to sign for Leeds Utd this summer so we can keep a close eye on them. #lufc
