The discourse around voting is so heavily dominated by a focus on national politics that it ignores the most consistent voters. There are dozens of races on my ballot and I have numerous approaches to how I select my vote. If none of my approaches gets an answer, the final one is "Not Republican?"

I wanted Tom Steyer to be in the Governor's race, but he's not so I'm gonna vote for Becerra. I don't follow his campaign at all: I'm voting for him because he's not a Republican.
It amazes me how people can demand art have a singular meaning instead of finding their own interpretation from what they experienced.

The median voter believes polls are fake and charts are lies. They will dispute any data they dont like. The median voter also loves any poll or chart that confirms their believes. They'll hang onto 1 data point for years.

Spider-Man Brand New may not be the more accurate Odyssey adaptation of the two, but I liked it more than The Odyssey.

Despite adding a westbound bike lane to Wellington, the city didn't make any changes to the stop lights. Cyclist are expected to cross Ashland/Wellington and Damen/Wellington even though cars still have lights that do not acknowledge the new lane

Food advertisements have been lies for a long time. The milk is actually glue, the burger is held together with toothpicks, etc. Tons of tricks. It makes sense that AI content is the next logical step in marketing, regardless of its deceptiveness. We can still turn back. Never too late

I find this overly cynical. Humans are social animals, we thrive with group decision-making. When we are in constant states of game theory and trying to not get ripped off, we make poor long term choices to satisfy perceived short term benefits.

Someone who knew what they were talking about could help you find the right shoes and steer you away from getting ripped off or making a bad purchase. The relationship mattered long term as well because you wouldn't keep dealing with that seller if they sucked. At least when competition existed

The answer is 9 but it is written in a strange format to confuse you. My brain wants to treat anything touching the () with deference prior to going left-right, which isn't correct. But weird to write. I see it this way; you could also write it this way. Neither has ambiguity like the original.

Spider-Man Brand New Day projected as the 2nd largest opening weekend, behind only Avengers: Endgame. Good to remember online isn't everything. Good to go out and do stuff, be around people.

Odyssey should also move up to #3 for the year, with a chance to pass the current 1 & 2(with Spider on his way to going well past Odysseus)
