There are several points in Enshittification where Cory is clear that the Biden administration was going after stuff like this & was taking anti-trust seriously. These aren't sexy, but are vital to maintaining democracy & reigning in the tech bros authoritarianism.

"The call was wrong, so it's fine!" Sorry, but wrong calls are part of sports. They always have been. Having the president of any country lean on the sports governing association to get them to make a change after the game is over will always be corruption.

I just purchased a new car. I wanted a hybrid and wanted a US car (not SUV/truck) that was reliable. That combination doesn't exist, so I bought a Honda hybrid.

The rise of larger vehicles like SUVs and pickup trucks, with their taller hoods and larger blind zones, has contributed to a 75% increase in pedestrian and cyclist deaths since 2009. Until we design better streets and ban these vehicles, people outside these vehicles will keep dying.
