Mothra vs. Godzilla more-or-less defined for me what a film’s score could BE and how boldly it could assert itself as a character, a presence, an inseparable arm of the storytelling. Even outside of its series, I think it remains one of the greatest harmonies between visual splendor and music.

Today was real gloomy. But we’re in hotumn and so close to fall, so I embraced it and went with @white2tea.bsky.social smoked shou. It was wonderful. Perfect contemplation cup, and I definitely see it working really well when the weather starts to get a chill.

I am struggling really badly lately. I feel threadbare and mournful. Thankful for my family and making lopsided cups today.

Found out one of my favorite people passed away this week. Reminiscing about days long WoW fests, Oxford, goth clubs, and all the most fun times we had.
