“Even in the trillionaire age, contrasting circumstances are rarely more extreme than this. The CIA base is one of the most technologically advanced facilities on this planet. In the event of a nuclear war, the orders that kill the world will pass through it. Irrkerlantye does not have electricity.”

Here's my story from Pine Gap. "The fight to end the US military occupation of Australia (and the entire world)" It's a photo-essay this time because I took a tonne of pics, the country being this stunning, to help convey the Arrernte's struggle.

Tears in my eyes reading the news regarding Sam Neill. What a wonderful life. He shared his lymphoma diagnosis and remission at the same time as mine. Such wonderful acting. But mostly I adored his happy place in Central Otago with ducks, pigs, scenery and classic vehicles. Rest in peace mate!

Roll up, roll up - get your *FREE* 3-hours of electricity per day from RedEnergy for $280 *EXTRA* above the standard Living Energy Saver plan ( $1893 per year for Solar Sharer vs $1613 per year for Living Energy Saver. Just shows *FREE* is *NOT FREE*. Another publicity con? #auspol

Screen capture of redenergy.com.au/products for NSW AusGrid service area (postcode 2285) showing the new Solar Sharer Offer and Living Energy Saver rates as at 2-Jul-2026. The estimated costs including the 3-hour free primary load electricity plan (Solar Sharer) is $158/month or $1893/year. Compare this to the one without the 3-hours free (Living Energy) which is $135/month or $1613/year.

I see Apple are increasing their prices on Macs and iPads. Something being forced into everything (“AI”) will be causing all sorts of things to increase their costs (e.g. water, electricity, subscriptions etc) further raising fossil fuel use and increasing temperatures. #enshittification costs!

I wonder who wants to buy second-hand Collins-class submarines? Aren’t they usually gutted of valuable metals and sunk to create an artificial reef to boost fishing stocks - or do we plough more billions of dollars into them to keep at least one shipworthy? #auspol

Who are the customers for these new data centres and who pays for the energy and cooling infrastructure needs? I’m guessing it would be the people like us who are getting forced into using “AI” and those in other time zones overseas making use of our government’s generosity for free. #auspol

I made the EV decision about four years ago. The 2.4 cents/km is even less when you have solar PV & can charge during the day from it (in lieu of selling your excess for the miserly feed in tariff). Check the link for Australian top selling vehicle energy cost/km. elitre.com.au/models

Was the PM’s address to the Nation for those who live under a rock and don’t follow current affairs? They could have programmed a LLM chat bot to give it. Yes, people will have to reduce their fuel usage and the effects will be with us for some time - thanks to the USA and Israelis #auspol

Two things - Genocidal Zionist’s & the demented orange psychopath’s “War of Destruction” is pushing us towards renewable energy; & the EID mosque photo op for the PM & Burke backfires (don’t mention the invasion & a million homeless in Lebanon). Let’s just say it’s the banned organisations. #auspol

This past month my EV has used 68 kWh of electricity charged from rooftop solar. If I had fed this into the grid it would mean I have foregone about $2.72 (4c/kWh) to travel about 475 km. If I had to pay without a rooftop solar it would be $21.08 (31c/kWh). Now do the sums using fossil fuels!

Charging stats for the last 31 days showing total of 68kWh used at zero cost from rooftop solar PV.This morning’s 33.8km shopping centre trip around the Newcastle suburbs. Air cond on high as temp was 28°C with 85% . Shows going up hill increased consumption by 6.8% and down hill regeneratively charged battery saving 6.0%. Air con added 1.5% to energy consumption. Total actual energy consumption was 8.4% of the battery capacity .Consumption graph for last 300km. Shows car consumed 43.1 kWh and has range of 382 km if I drive under suburban conditions with the air con on.

Just read that Niki Savva said that if the Liberal Party “don’t put One Nation last on their ballot papers, they are signing their own death warrant.” Since when does the Liberal Party write preferences on ballot papers? Voters make their own choice! Put them last anyway. #auspol

5-year Solar PV figures for my home are in. The system payback period is almost done. It’s saved me around $9,125 in 5 years (feed-in tariff plus self consumed during the day). I’ve contributed around 7.26 MWh to the grid (surplus to my needs) and driven around 27330 km in my EV powered by it.

BildEnphase app 5-year production and consumption display showing 21.5 MWh imported from grid, 46.8 MWh produced by my solar PV system, 39.2 MWh consumed by the house and excess of 7.6MWh exported to grid.Bild

There must be some hidden secrets about women and their children being terrorist threats (I can find no examples) — or the government is just being mean to citizens who have a right to return home because their husbands took them overseas and they now want to return home from a refugee camp. #auspol

Our lobbyist captured government has a spineless prime minister that doesn’t want to criticise, a foreign minister who’s always concerned with other things, & a deputy pm with an AUKUS perfumed filled snowglobe skull that can’t ever speak out against the things happening in septic tank land. #auspol
