Oh the beauty of a clearing Arctic winter sky!
Well we are not quite as chilly as Fairbanks or Cold foot here at @toolikfieldstation.bsky.social but it is still -40 out so it is pretty darn cold. Today I spotted a small flock of ptarmigan browsing in the willows around the station and basking in the sunlight.
The sun is back at the station…and with it, windchills in the -60s F! 📸 @ubetula.bsky.social staying warm.
