I was in Malawi recently, where I met Brenda, the trainer leading a brand new women’s painting and decorating course with our partner FESODEV. The new course is about more than learning practical skills, it’s about opportunity, and women supporting women to build independent futures.
If anyone is around the Southampton or New Forest area, we are having a birthday sale event on Thursday 14 May! We'll have cake, more items to sell, and have a pin cushion workshop, and cake. Did we mention cake.
We loaded a 40-foot container bound for Zambia from Southampton today 🚢 Inside: Bikes, 4,000+ refurbished tools and 100 sewing machines, all restored by our amazing UK volunteers. Rising global shipping costs made this a challenge, but thanks to our supporters, this vital shipment is on its way 🙌

🌱 This Earth Day we’re celebrating one of our projects in Ghana. What started as support for women in shea nut processing & orange-fleshed sweet potato farming has grown into stronger businesses. Participants have formed their own committee to carry the work forward. Real sustainability in action.
