Every time things start looking like they're stable, something happens. Our oldest cat seems to be sick, he's losing fur around his hindquarters and I'd like to get him checked over. I might be able to swing it at the end of the month, but he's an old man so I'd rather he wasn't suffering unduly.

This is what has happened with Labour in the UK. Most people don't believe that Labour could be transphobic - they aren't the Tories or Reform after all - and refuse to see it, and they are the most transphobic government of my life. So much harder to fight against, so much more damage done.
