I just made the experiment of taking out the word "enactive" and its cognates from an enactivist analysis of medical practice via an ethnography, and everything just equally made sense. So maybe we don't have to commit to a specific view of cognition to do good interpretative social science?

It's crazy how the favorite songs of a 76 year old person who's trained in classical music and who's had a unique life --traveling around the world, meeting a crazy list of VIPs-- are pretty much taken from the Billboard top 40. He really is the most boring human alive.

I feel like I won't like Balatro that much, even though I like poker and sort of liked (but not became hooked on) Slay the Spire, the only turned base roguelike I've ever played. It sounds unappealing on paper. Still, I'm afraid to try it because I've heard of folks getting really obsessed.
