A new direction I'm trying for the Court scene. There are several `TileMapLayer`s as children of the Court (FloorLayer, PointsLayer, etc). The "data" layers likely won't be visible to the player; they're there to inform shot value, team territory etc. Now to make it work with navigation! #godot

Here's something I'm working on now. It's a turn-based tactical basketball game that I hope will be mobile-friendly. The screenshot shows movement costs for each cell on the court, starting with the player's position (0). Still a long way to go! #godot #gamedev #wip

Dear Future Self, You wanted to start sharing more of your work. It felt really awkward and forced at first. It was easier to frame it in this way.
