This week, Toronto Centre is in Freetown, Sierra Leone, continuing our long-term country engagement and delivering a RBS Program from August 3-7 in partnership with the Sierra Leone Insurance Commission (SLICOM). We look forward to the rest of the week.

Yesterday, Toronto Centre began our Digital Financial Services Supervision Program. Participants from 13 jurisdictions came together to explore how digital financial products are transforming financial services. We look forward to the rest of the program together.

Last week, Toronto Centre was in Lusaka, Zambia, conducting a needs and capacity assessment for the Lusaka Securities Exchange Plc (LuSE Zambia). The assessment evaluated LuSE's capacity to perform risk-based oversight as a self-regulatory organization. We look forward to further collaboration.

This week, Toronto Centre is in Freetown, Sierra Leone, conducting a risk-based supervision (RBS) program with the Central Bank of Sierra Leone. This program was designed to help participants better understand the principles of RBS and further develop their onsite examination methodology. #RBS

Last week, Toronto Centre was in Bangkok, Thailand, for our flagship Core Curriculum Program, a CFS designation Level 1/Foundation program. 24 supervisors and regulators from 15 countries gathered to strengthen their understanding of core supervision and risk-based supervision.

This week, Toronto Centre is in Bangkok, Thailand, for our flagship Core Curriculum Program, a #CFS Foundation/Level One program. Participants from 12 jurisdictions have gathered to strengthen their core supervision toolkits. We look forward to the rest of the program together.

Last week, Toronto Centre delivered our Reinsurance for Insurance Supervisors Program with AITRI. 31 supervisors and regulators from 8 jurisdictions strengthened their capacity to oversee reinsurance functions, assess emerging risks, and apply risk-based supervisory approaches.
