I, for one, welcome the “abundance” fight. It shows the left can fight Trumpism while wrestling with how we can be better than we’ve been. I have no interest in “actually the government has been doing great” liberalism.

Just met with some lovely folks who until recently worked at USAID and their implementing partners. Moving, heartbreaking, and enraging to hear the long-term impacts and wasted potential of our sudden, chaotic abandonment of global health aid.

These are tuberculosis medications--ALREADY PAID FOR--that aren't being distributed due to the Trump Administration's stop work order. TB treatment is being interrupted in SO many patients around the world. What does that mean? (1/2)
