campus dress codes aren't new, and basic standards have their place. but framing this ban as a magic fix for "real world preparation" is a miss. (to me) black folks in mass aren't wearing pajamas to board meetings. social media is treating an occasional miss like a damn five-alarm fire.

why tf did i have a dream that i was staying in a non-descriptive latin country for a week with my boss to see if we wanted to move there. while there, i ended running into a kid from my childhood neighborhood that lived there and was talking about how he enjoyed. hadn’t seen him since he was 12.
