Too many veterans come home to isolation, food insecurity, homelessness, and struggles with their mental health. Together, we must serve those who have served our country by delivering a life of dignity to veterans across the five boroughs.

Two pairs of boots are reflected in a puddle on the ground. Mayor Mamdani participates in the Remembrance Ruck across the Brooklyn Bridge.

This morning, more than 1,000 New Yorkers came together for the first City-sponsored Remembrance Ruck, walking from Brooklyn to Manhattan to honor our veterans. It was an experience I will carry with me forever.

In Illinois, we value partnerships with neighbors like Quebec. I had a thoughtful discussion with Premier Christine Fréchette about the strategic importance of maintaining the USMCA. Our state will stay in touch with those in Canada to strengthen ties when our federal government steps aside.

“60 Minutes” — once a fearless national treasure — has been largely gutted. Over a year ago, I appeared on “60 Minutes” because I trusted the leaders of CBS to report the news with honesty and bravery. That will be my last appearance on the show. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/my-o...

I'm one of over 300 million Americans. Soon to be 64. Sole caretaker for my 92 yo mom. I can give up a few hours every goddamned day to help keep the streets occupied. There's plenty of us to share the load. Am I scared about the danger? Yes. But I'm a hell of alot more scared of what's coming.

Every day...it's cruelty afflicted onto the American people. What is it going to take? Where is the line in the sand that if crossed, you get angry enough to fight? And by fight, I mean keeping our streets occupied at the very least. A strike more than likely would have stopped this by now.

We must push back harder. Relying on midterms is not enough. I'm not so sure we will even have one. MY OPINION. Above all else of whats happening to us...a pedophile and rapist is the POTUS. One would think that would be enough for more that 4 protests in 2 years. Other countries notice this.

BS. If 30 million people walked out the door, sat on the sidewalk, pointed their middle finger at Washington and saint move until our demands are met. The problem is Americans are lazy & privileged. Again, this will NOT end with the midterms
