I sometimes challenge myself to try painting animals with alternative color pallets. It's fun to come up with which ones work together most aesthetically. You can find prints of this piece, as well as my other socials at ArtOfTranifer.com/links #art #artist #fox #painting #watercolors #painting

It's everyone's favorite Seattle based critter, Jimothy the raccoon! As soon as I saw this little fella, I knew I had to paint him. I decided to add a bumblebee, because that's what he reminds me of. Prints and original available at artoftranifer.etsy.com #jimothy #jimothyraccoon #watercolor #art
Summertime means bears and watermelon, so naturally I had to paint a combination of the two. This chubby cutie is a part of my ongoing series of fruit bears. Prints available at ArtOfTranifer.etsy.com #art #artist #whimsycore #cuteanimals #traditionalart #watercolors
Just a precious little snail munching on a bunch of blueberries. I used a picture I took of one of my pet garden snails for the reference, because they make the perfect little models, and snails are one of my favorite critters to paint Prints available at artoftranifer.etsy.com #snails #art #artist
When I was a kid I loved the old Casper the Friendly Ghost shorts. My favorite was the one where he befriended a fox kit named Ferdie. Here's my reimagining of the characters, done as a part of my long ongoing series of ghosts enjoying nature. Prints at artoftranifer.etsy.com #art #fox #ghost

Have you ever wondered what happens to all those abandoned sacks of potatoes? What was once forgotten in the back of the pantry has gotten a second chance at life, and is ready to wiggle its tendrils free and frolic (Inspired by a true story). Prints at artoftranifer.etsy.com/listing/1023... #art
While most types of snakes ate solitary creatures, garter snakes live in tight communities are socially intelligent. Studies show that they recognize their family members and even have "friends". They are such fascinating critters. Prints and stickers at artoftranifer.etsy.com #artist #nature #art
When feeling threatened, Mushroom Bears will sit completely still and look down in an attempt to disguise themselves as an ordinary mushroom. But, they are not very good at it (as there are not many other 6 foot tall, bright red mushrooms). Prints and stickers available at: artoftranifer.etsy.com
One of my pieces from a few years back. I usually try to keep my ghost art on the cuter side, but I really enjoy when I have the opportunity to make something creepy. I also had a really fun time running around the woods taking reference pics #art #artist #painting Prints at artoftranifer.etsy.com
