Our Belonging at Work Inclusion Guide is now live! You can head over to our website, we-belong.ca, to read the Inclusion Guide in its entirety for free! This project has been funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada.

Call for Two-Spirit, trans, and gender diverse (2S/TGD) youth! CARE Lab is looking to recruit 6-8 2S/TGD youth across Canada to serve on their youth community advisory board (YCAB).YCAB members will help support an upcoming study about substance use.

New study recruitment alert! Are you over the age of 18, living in Manitoba, and a current or future parent? If so, you should fill out this survey by UManitoba researcher Maddy Nowosad. For further information and to fill out the survey, please scan the QR code in the image.

August 1st is Emancipation Day. On this day in 1833, the Slavery Abolition Act came into effect in the British Empire, including what is now Canada. Emancipation Day is a day to reflect on the past, so that we don't make the same mistakes. It's also a day to commit to anti-racism.

This research study is recruiting survey respondents! This project is looking for your opinion on museums and queer representation. Participants are asked to fill out a 5-10 minute anonymous survey - you don't have to identify as queer or have seen the exhibit. The link is in our bio!

Today, July 14th, is International Non-binary People's Day! This is a day to celebrate our Non-binary siblings. To celebrate, we've highlighted just a few of the many major historical milestones that have impacted Non-binary people in Manitoba. Happy International Non-binary People's Day!

Our theme, "Brick by Brick: Two-Spirit and Transgender People Against Fascism," spoke to the past and present oppression faced by Two-Spirit, transgender and gender diverse folks across the world, including here in Canada. We believe our march was a celebration of trans joy and the ability to exercise our right to peacefully demonstrate and take up space. The 2026 2S & Trans March was both a protest and community gathering of trans joy. We would like to thank everyone who attended, marched with our Community Marshals on the sidewalks, and made their voices heard. Special thanks to Dykes on Bikes for providing safety support. Calling all youth! Are you between the ages of 15-30 and looking to have your voice heard? The Youth Voices Above the Noise advisory council is recruiting! This is a PAID opportunity. Applications are due JUNE 30TH. All other information is available on the poster or in the application form.

This National Indigenous Peoples Day, we’re delighted to feature Bannock for Binders, an initiative led by local Indigenous Two-Spirit community member, Sunday Queskekapow! Find Sunday at the South Osborne Farmers Market during the dates listed to get some bannock and support this great cause!
